Arrived Taiwan around 9:30 PM.
My parents dropped us at their empty apartment. 

12/29
Stopped by 功德林 in Taichung for lunch.
Went to Pingtung to visit my great-uncle, and showed Dabai the most important city of my childhood.
My aunt just starts a bubble tea store, so we stopped by and had some bubble tea.
Went to Kaohsiung and had dinner @ 上海素食 with my parents, aunts, and uncle.
Stayed at my aunt & uncle's place.

Woke up early and went to 西子灣 to meet with my aunt, and she took us for bike tour. 
Took the ferry to 旗津; we walked around the town, went to the lighthouse and the fort. 
Had some 鐵板燒 as lunch. 
Took KRTC & the bus to National Science and Technology Museum. We spent most of the afternoon here. 
Took Taiwan High Speed train (top speed of 300 km/h (186 mph)) back to Taoyuan. We had Seafood Rice Burger Osaka Style & Fish Burger @ Mos Burger.

Stopped by my funny aunt's workplace to surprise her with a coffee (and then I've heard that she doesn't drink coffee anymore).
We had lunch at a Japanese Ramen place around the "cram school street" near Taipei train station.
We headed to National Palace Museum after lunch. Museum was fun (and cheap).
Here comes the most important part of our trip: SHILIN NIGHT MARKET!!! Dabai tried some "foreigner must eat": stinky tofu臭豆腐, oyster omelet蚵阿煎, huge chicken fillet豪大大雞排, fruit shaved ice水果牛奶雪花冰, Taiwanese style pork chop 鐵板燒豬排, Taiwan beer台灣啤酒, tanghulu/candied fruit on the stick糖葫蘆.
MRT was crowded, so it took us a while to get on the MRT. However, we "managed" to arrive Taoyuan at 12:00am and said Happy New Year to strangers on the train :D We got to see some fireworks right by the station, and Dabai and I had a New Year hug there.

We went to Chiang Kaishek Memorial hall. I've re-learned some history. The weather was a little bit cold that day.
To-go 鼎泰豐 as lunch, since we didn't want to wait in line for 2 hours. Also had some Taiwanese dish: 鼎邊銼 & 肉丸
Then we went to Flora Expo. Pavilion of New Fashion(FE EcoARK) is cool; the entire building is made by plastic bottles. EXPO Dome has some interesting info/knowledge.
We were tired, so we went back to Taoyuan and had coffee at Donkin Donuts under Shin Kong Mitsukoshi. My dad picked us up around 7:30pm and we had dinner at千葉hot pot buffet with some of my relatives.

Slept late. Woke up and went to 勝博殿 with my high school friends for lunch. I like the food :D We also went to a tea shop after that.
We checked out some stores around the downtown area. We also got some cute stationary.
My parent picked us up around 7pm. We went to 錢都 hot pot store for dinner, and 芽莊 for coffee.
We had a nice and relax day!

Went to NTU and dropped gift to Benny. We had pork chop & chicken fillet rice around the university. After lunch, Dabai got to try super yummy 車輪餅.
We also went to Taipei Fine Arts Museum. There were some interesting exhibitions.
We then went to Danshui. There's a Mister Donut there by the MRT with Macha flavor donut! We had some donut there. We walked around Danshui old street, and we found a really cool Starbucks :)
After that we went to Taipei 101; the weather was bad, so we didn't go up to the observatory. We had 咖哩蛋包飯 there, and then we went to 五分埔. Dabai also tried豬血糕 tonight.

We got up late today again because we were exhausted.
We had a relax morning; grandmom and aunts got some gift for Dabai and me :) and we walked to my parent's apartment. They took us to a vegetarian buffet for lunch. I like that place a lot:)
Before we went to Taipei, we also stopped by an elementary school and said hi to my 5th and 6th grade teacher. (He walked out from his class and talked to us for a minute, and his students started to cheat :P)
First stop of Taipei was 王德傳茶莊, where we got the tea for our awesome Japanese neighbors. 
Then we went to Taipei 101 again; the weather was not good but the sky was still bright, so we went up to the observatory. The observatory is well-designed, and we are happy that we did go up there. We got nice Latte up there and wait for the dark. Going up there around 5 is a great idea, we got to see the scenery before & after sunset.
We took MRT to Miramar, and we took the ferris wheel. My first ferris wheel experience was awesome :) not only that I got to take it with my best friend, he also gave me his sweet promise when our cart reached the top of the ferris wheel. I love my honey <3 Thank you for the sweet surprise.

We had lunch at 欣葉 with my parent, godparent, 2 aunts, and Quinty. It's a Japanese buffet. The food was awesome, and we like it a lot.
After that I went to have teeth cleaning and haircut...our energy were low:P since we've been playing around for last couple days. We visited some stores and decided to have some tea at Afternoon Tea.
We went to my grandmom's to have dinner. True fact: they've already finished the dinner, so my funny aunt and Mary actually cooked for us again :P OPPS :D
My parents also stopped by and gave us some stuff. We packed and went to bed.

Woke up at 5:45am.
My parents took us to a 飯糰 place for breakfast. Both of us have 豬肉紫米飯糰 & 紅茶.
We arrived airport around 7 something, checked in, said goodbye, and we had some more yummy food inside the airport.
We were ready to go back home and see our pets :) 

Vacation is over, but I'm happy.
It's good to see my family.
It's super fun to travel with Dabai.

My life is awesome.
