I was talking to my prof. regarding the cheating case I am currently dealing with.
He sighed and told me a ridiculous story

He had a student asked him to regrade her exam
He suspected she changed the answer and asked him to regrade it (that was not the first time she asked him to regrade the exam), so he actually made a copy of the exam before he handed it back to her. When the student asked him to regrade the exam, he took the exam back and compared to the copy version, and she acutally did change the answers.

My prof. submitted the case to student behavior committee, and the student claimed that she just made some notes on the exam when the prof. was going over the answer in calss.
The committee voted in favor of the student.

WTF!

Anyway, I am asked by the department to offer a make up exam for the student. It's unfair to me and to the rest of the students. Oh~well.
Life is like this. People get rewards for their bad behaviors. This is sad.
