I went to Big Lots to buy curtains to cover up the living room/bedroom window so that I can keep the room cooler and make my computer screen more visiable :P I searched online for a while and couldn't be able to find the curtain with the width of my window, so I decided just go to stores and figured this out. I went to Walmart, Smith's, and Big Lots, and it seems like Big Lots has many selections with pretty good deal. At first I got a set with 2-panel curtains and a curtain pole (curtain poles in Big Lots are cheaper and with good quality), I went back home and tried to install the pole and curtains...and NO NO NO NO NO, they made the room way too dark. As advertised, it's Energy Efficient Curtain, but I don't like it :D Anyway, I went back to the store and exchange two 1-panel curtains; this time I picked something that actually works out well (besides they are way too long, which I can easily fix that if I want...however, I'm lazy, so I'm just going to leave it that way.) These actually decrease the heat and also keep the natural light :) The only drawback is that it's kind of like "princess style materials" which doesn't fit my personality :P

I bought couple area rugs so that people can sit on and dog can lie on.

Living room/bedroom done!
Tomorrow I'll organize kitchen cabinets. (Almost finish...I've already started it yesterday.)

Today is SUPER hot. I felt like I was walking inside an oven. HOT, NO WIND, NO CLOUD. Not very fun to do any outdoor activities (and I think walking counts as an outdoor activity:P) on this kind of days.

Last night I had a small dumb incident that made me afraid that I wouldn't be able to wake up in the morning :D ha...I wasn't afriad of "dying", just didn't want to die because of "this". I'll skip the detail since it's too dumb to share in blog :D
