July 13 is good so far. My day started with "hanging out" with DaBai after I ate my "dinner" at midnight. We were studying, talking, and mocking each other as usual =D
DaBai's Chinese is getting better and better. I'm always surprised how fast he can memorize/regonize the characters, and I think he writes the characters well, although he doesn't agree with me on this. And later on, I think he'll get to pick up some Taiwanese since I speak Taiwanese to family and friends from time to time.
Btw, I have to admit that I think DaBai's homework are HARD. And for me, some questions are ambiguous.
Some terms seem unfamiliar to me, such as "極了," I know what that means but I just can't think of the ocassion I'd ever used it before. I guess in Taiwan, we usually just said "很冷" instead of "冷極了"
I actually think the questions in TOEFL are easier than those in the Chinese tests.
<(@ ̄︶ ̄@)>
These are what I may say when it's god damn cold:
冷死了
有夠冷
超級冷
我鼻子要掉了 (鼻子can be subsituted by 耳朵) [yeah...i don't even have to say 冷 to indicate it's cold lol]
I went to campus for a meeting, so I passed by a redbox at 7-11 on my way home. I rented another movie "Remember Me." I picked this movie just because it's on the top 20 list there, and the plot:
"In the summer of 2001, New York college
student Tyler is still feeling lost from the tragedy that has strained
his relationship with his father when he meets Ally, a girl who
understands his pain. The last thing Tyler’s looking for is love, but
through their passionate relationship, he finds new possibilities for
happiness. It’s an unforgettable story about the power of the heart, the
strength of family, and the importance of treasuring every day of one’s
life."
Anyway, the ending is NOT what I was expecting, and the movie did not make me cry, but I think it is a heart touching movie.
We really have to treasure every single day and the people we love before it's too late. No matter how bad was the past, we always can find new happiness.
Kayoko lends me a Japanese movie, and I'm trying to "work on" that. It'd took me a while to actually understand the movie since there's no English/Chinese subtitles. It should be FUN! During this week, I probably will go to the zoo with her kids.
I didn't run today, but I have a legitimate reason for that.
